What is SVG?

Another project, MadSwatter; brother of MadButterfly, is running on Firefox as a platform and using SVG techinology to construct it's functions. (see, http://www.assembla.com/spaces/MadSwatter )

Inkscape is an open source project to provide a vector graphics editor. Inkscape saves graphics in SVG format. You can use it to design your graphics that can be used with MadBufferfly.
